How does world ranking work? Often after the last year of junior tournaments, the best French players will play in the world circuit and they will face players of all nationalities. Tournaments are held weekly everywhere in the world. There are different types of tournaments (Futures, Challengers, Master Series, and Grand Slam). Each tournament awards points to players according to the importance of the tournament and the results of each player. Then the world ranking is established according to these points. Men‘s and women's tour, is it the same? Besides the International Tennis Federation (ITF) (responsible for both circuits) the men's tour is managed by the ATP and women's by the WTA. Why 3 years and 150 000 €? Three years provides a realistic time to progress and achieve the objective of the 100th worldwide ranking. 50 000 € per year is the amount required to support all expenses for one year. Why an amount of 20 €? We set the minimum amount at 20€ in order to open sponsorship up to the largest number of people possible, so there will be no "entry barrier" for anyone. Why 4 years for some players? We have modified our concept for very young talents (Jules and Marie Florent DIEP), young juniors who have just begun a professional career. Their progress will necessarily be longer compared to a player ranked 400th. Out of 20 €, how much goes to the player? All invested sums will be used to cover players' expenses. None of the sum is used to cover Tennis Angels expenses. What is the basis for calculating the% of the gains? For Men: ATP and ITF For Women: WTA and ITF How do the partner s' discounts function? What happens after 3 years? |
